Unbreakable 60+ Method: New Fitness Program Launches for Miami-Dade Seniors
Miami-Dade County seniors looking to boost their fitness and well-being have a new opportunity with the launch of the "Unbreakable 60+ Method" program. Starting next Monday, April 21, 2026, this initiative aims to provide accessible and tailored exercise routines for residents aged 60 and over.
The program, developed by local fitness enthusiast and long-time Miami-Dade resident, Maria Rodriguez, focuses on low-impact exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Classes will be held at the Miami-Dade Senior Center in the Westchester neighborhood on SW 88th Street, with morning sessions scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. An additional evening session will be available on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
"We've seen a real need in our community for fitness options specifically designed for our older population," stated Ms. Rodriguez during a recent community meeting at the Senior Center. "The 'Unbreakable 60+ Method' is about empowering our seniors to stay active and healthy, fostering a stronger, more vibrant community."
The program is free for all Miami-Dade County residents aged 60 and above. Participants are encouraged to register in advance due to limited class sizes. Registration can be completed by calling the Miami-Dade Senior Center at (305) 555-1234 or by visiting the center during operating hours.
