Two armed robbery suspects are now in custody after fleeing from police in a pursuit that ended near Jerry's Nugget Casino on the 1800 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Deputy Chief Noel Roberts said the first of three related robberies occurred around 7:15 a.m. near 21st Street and Hinkle Drive. Two additional robberies followed in the northern part of the valley. In each incident, juveniles approached victims with a gun to steal personal items. Through descriptions provided by witnesses at the initial robbery, police identified two armed individuals and the vehicle they were operating.
When officers located the suspects in the southeast part of town, a chase ensued. LVMPD used a PIT maneuver to disable the vehicle and bring the pursuit to an end. Two individuals attempted to flee on foot but were quickly taken into custody. Roberts identified both as male juveniles.
No injuries were reported during the robberies or pursuit. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue processing multiple crime scenes across North Las Vegas.
