Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Madison Counties

Residents in Fayette County, northern Clinton County, southeastern Greene County, and southwestern Madison County must immediately move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning effective until 9:15 PM EDT tonight, September 20.

At 8:36 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jamestown, moving east at 40 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts, according to radar indications. Expect damage to trees and power lines.
