Tampa residents will have multiple opportunities to experience William Shakespeare's timeless tragedy, 'Romeo & Juliet,' this fall, with performances scheduled at USF Theatre1. Directed by Diego Villada, the production promises to bring the classic tale of star-crossed lovers to the local stage.
The play is set to run on select dates in October. Evening performances are scheduled for October 4, 5, 11, and 12, all beginning at 7:30 p.m. For those preferring a matinee, afternoon shows will take place on October 6 and 13, both starting at 3:00 p.m.
USF Theatre1, located on the University of South Florida campus in North Tampa, will serve as the venue for these performances. This local production offers a chance for community members to engage with classical theater right here in Tampa.
