New Spanish Classes Offered at Miami-Dade Public Library System
Miami-Dade County residents looking to learn or improve their Spanish language skills now have a new opportunity. The Miami-Dade Public Library System announced today, April 8, 2026, the launch of free Spanish classes across several branches, aiming to enhance community engagement and cultural understanding.
The initiative, which begins next Monday, April 14, will offer beginner and intermediate level courses. Classes will be held weekly at the Main Library on bustling Flagler Street in downtown Miami, the Coral Gables Branch on Segovia Street in the City Beautiful, and the Hialeah Gardens Branch on West 84th Street. Each session is designed to be interactive, focusing on conversational Spanish and practical vocabulary relevant to daily life in Miami-Dade.
Library officials stated that the program is a direct response to community feedback and the diverse linguistic landscape of the county. "We believe these classes will not only help individuals communicate more effectively but also foster a stronger, more connected community," said a library spokesperson.
Interested residents can register for the classes in person at any participating branch or by visiting the Miami-Dade Public Library System's website. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
