Minor League Baseball Season Kicks Off for Double-A, High-A, and Single-A Teams

Minor League Baseball is now in full swing, with Double-A, High-A, and Single-A leagues having begun their 2026 seasons by the end of yesterday, May 2nd. This marks the complete launch of all full-season leagues, bringing America's pastime to communities across the country, including sunny Florida locales that host teams relevant to Dunedin's baseball enthusiasts.
The Triple-A leagues, which include the International League and the Pacific Coast League, commenced their seasons last week. With the exception of two leagues, all other full-season minor league play started on Thursday, April 30th.
Baseball fans in Dunedin and surrounding areas, home to the historic TD Ballpark, can now follow the progress of their favorite minor league prospects as the season gets underway. The full slate of games provides ample opportunity to enjoy the sport throughout the spring and summer months.
