MGL36500
Lake Worth residents are advised of upcoming road work on MGL36500, a key thoroughfare connecting the historic downtown area to the western neighborhoods. The project, slated to begin next Monday, April 21, 2026, will involve resurfacing and minor drainage improvements along the stretch between Main Street and Elm Avenue.
City Public Works Director, Sarah Jenkins, stated that the work is expected to last approximately three weeks, weather permitting. "We understand that any road work can cause temporary inconvenience," Jenkins said, "but these improvements are crucial for maintaining safe and smooth travel for our community."
During construction hours, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, motorists can expect lane closures and potential detours. Residents are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible and to exercise caution when driving through the work zone. Local businesses along MGL36500 will remain open and accessible throughout the project.
