Matarazzo Named SSC Men's Golfer of the Week

Florida Southern College's graduate student Adam Matarazzo has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Men's Golfer of the Week for his outstanding performance at the Argonaut Invitational. The announcement came earlier this week, highlighting Matarazzo's consistent play.

Matarazzo, a key player for the Moccasins, secured a top-five finish at the tournament held at the Pensacola Country Club along Florida's Gulf Coast. He posted a three-round total of 212, finishing four strokes under par. His rounds included scores of 70, 71, and 71, demonstrating remarkable consistency throughout the competition.

This marks Matarazzo's first SSC Men's Golfer of the Week honor this season, underscoring his contribution to the Florida Southern College golf program in Central Florida. The Moccasins will look to carry this momentum into their upcoming tournaments.
