Key Changes and Impact on Residents and Businesses

The revised fee schedule impacts various applications. For instance, an Administrative Adjustment now costs $250, while a Comprehensive Development Plan Amendment carries a $750 fee. These adjustments reflect the city's efforts to cover administrative and review costs associated with development and land use.

Specific Fee Adjustments Highlighted

Several common permits saw specific fee changes. A Conditional Use Permit now costs $500, and Rezoning (non-Planned Development) is $750. For those operating short-term rentals, a new certificate costs $200, with renewals and transfers priced at $75 each.

Construction-related permits also have updated fees. Initial Site Plan Review costs $750, with subsequent resubmittals after the second staff review incurring a $200 charge. A Right-of-Way Permit for Construction is $90 plus 1% of construction costs, though franchise agreement-holders are exempt. Technical Testing and Review for Construction of Radio/Data Transmission Antennas carries a $3500 fee, with any unused portion over the initial $10 processing fee refunded upon completion of testing.
