Main Street Between Washington and Jefferson Closes April 22-26 for Resurfacing

The City of Bloomfield has announced a temporary closure of a section of Main Street next week to facilitate street resurfacing. The affected area will be Main Street between Washington and Jefferson streets in the historic downtown.

The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 22nd, and will continue through Friday, April 26th. During this period, the specified stretch of Main Street will be inaccessible to all traffic.

Detour routes will be clearly marked to guide motorists around the construction zone. The City of Bloomfield has issued an apology for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure project may cause to residents and commuters.
