Local Library to Host 'Redcoat' Novel Discussion

Punta Gorda residents interested in historical fiction are invited to a special discussion next Tuesday, April 15, at the Charlotte-Glades Library on Shreve Street in the heart of the city's historic downtown. The event will focus on the novel Redcoat, exploring its themes and historical context.

The discussion, scheduled for 6:30 PM in the library's main meeting room, aims to provide a deeper understanding of the book's narrative and its portrayal of historical events. Attendees are encouraged to have read the novel prior to the event to fully participate in the conversation.

Library Director Sarah Jenkins stated, "We're excited to offer our community an opportunity to engage with literature in a meaningful way. Redcoat offers a fascinating look into a pivotal historical period, and we anticipate a lively discussion."

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, residents can contact the Charlotte-Glades Library directly during operating hours.
