Le Jeune Palms Mixed-Use Project Awaits Flagami Approval

National Desk
May 13, 2026
FLAGAMI, FL — Le Jeune Palms LLC has submitted plans for a mixed-use development at 4255 NW 6th Street, replacing a surface parking lot at the busy intersection of NW 7th Street and NW 42nd Avenue. Zoning documents from project architect Modis Architects detail three- and eight-story buildings with 197 multifamily units in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts averaging 800 square feet, 132 lodging units and 426 parking spaces, according to project filings reviewed by Day.News. The ground floor will allocate 12,698 square feet for commercial retail along NW 43rd Avenue and NW 7th Street, plus residential lobbies, hotel amenities and landscaping. This setup targets Flagami's growing demand for housing and visitor accommodations near landmarks like the Tamiami Trail and local businesses. The City of Miami Urban Development Review Board is set to vote on the proposal March 19, 2025, at 2 p.m., with public comments permitted. Residents can attend or submit feedback through official channels ahead of the hearing. Flagami has seen related activity, including the second phase of Flagler Villas at 5350 W Flagler St, which plans 98 affordable senior apartments funded via the Miami-Dade Department of Housing & Community Development. That project targets completion in Q3 2026, per developer announcements. For Le Jeune Palms updates, check City of Miami planning records or contact the Urban Development Review Board directly. The site fronts key arterials connecting Flagami to West Miami and Coral Gables.
