Largo Residents to See New Landscaping Along Main Street

Largo residents can anticipate a fresh new look along a prominent stretch of Main Street as landscape installation is set to begin next week. The beautification project aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the historic downtown area, providing a more welcoming environment for shoppers and visitors.

Crews will commence work on Monday, April 20, focusing on the section of Main Street between 1st Avenue NW and 3rd Avenue SE. The project includes the planting of various native shrubs, flowering plants, and new trees, carefully selected to thrive in Largo's climate and require minimal maintenance.

While minor traffic disruptions may occur during the installation process, efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience to motorists and pedestrians. The project is expected to be completed within two weeks, weather permitting, adding a vibrant touch to Largo's central corridor just in time for the warmer months.
