“We’ve had a fantastic response from the community,” Jenkins said earlier this week. “People are really excited to get out and enjoy the local parks and trails, and we’re here to make sure they have everything they need for a safe and enjoyable experience.” She added that the store has recently stocked up on maps of local trails, including those in the Black Hammock Wilderness Area and the Little Big Econ State Forest, which are popular destinations for Oviedo hikers.

Staff members, many of whom are avid hikers themselves, are frequently seen offering advice on trail conditions, recommending routes suitable for different skill levels, and sharing tips on wildlife safety.
