Kathie Titus Sworn in as Doddridge County's New Magistrate, Succeeding Retired Judge Dyer

Doddridge County has a new magistrate following the retirement of Magistrate Dyer. Kathie Titus, a lifelong resident of Doddridge County, has been appointed to the position.

Titus was officially sworn into her new role by Circuit Court Judge Timothy Sweeney. Prior to her appointment as magistrate, Titus served the community as a probation officer.

Her appointment ensures the continued operation of the magistrate court, which handles a variety of local legal matters including civil cases, misdemeanors, and preliminary hearings for felonies.
