Jasper County Sheriff Releases March Arrest Report

The Jasper County Sheriff's Office has released its arrest report for the month of March 2026, detailing various incidents and warrant services across the county. Later in March, on the 21st, Kent D. Wilson Jr., 38, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County FTA Warrant for possession of methamphetamine less than 5 grams and domestic battery.

  • March 3: Dalton W. Dasenbrock, 28, and Riley D. Funneman, 20, both of Wheeler, were arrested on Jasper County Warrants for possession of a substance containing methamphetamine and possession of stolen property.
  • March 6: Jermareist Robinson, 35, of Roseville, MI, was arrested for driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop near Embarras and Main St. in Sainte Marie.
  • March 7: Tyler R. Chapman, 29, of Robinson, was arrested on a Jasper County FTA Warrant for DUI Alcohol. Vincent A. Plannette, 42, of Madison, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, home invasion, and aggravated driving while revoked after deputies responded to a call in the area of E. 850th Ave. in Newton.
  • March 8: Carl S. Wiley, 62, of Olney, was arrested on a Jasper County FTA Warrant for theft with intent to control less than $500.
  • March 9: David K. Smith, 59, of Willow Hill, was arrested for a probation violation after deputies responded to a call in the area of E. 1375th Ave. in Willow Hill.
  • March 11: Dartha J. Chagala-Munoz, 41, of Wheeler, was arrested on a Jasper County FTA Warrant for possession of methamphetamine less than 5 grams.
  • March 16: Timothy J. Baize, 58, of Montrose, was arrested on an in-state warrant. Jessica A. Babbs, 32, of Oblong, was arrested for DUI Alcohol following a reported accident near N. St. Hwy 49 in Willow Hill.
  • March 17: Dale A. Chapman, 62, of Bethany, was arrested for home invasion after deputies responded to a call in the area of E. Main St. in Willow Hill.
  • March 18: Kristen E. Brown, 42, of Willow Hill, was arrested on a Jasper County Warrant for domestic battery.
  • March 26: Joshua H. Wirth, 48, of Effingham, was arrested on a Jasper County Warrant for probation violation and possession of a substance containing methamphetamine.
