Immokalee Library to Host Free Computer Skills Workshops
Immokalee residents in this vibrant agricultural community looking to sharpen their digital literacy can look forward to a series of free computer skills workshops at the Immokalee Branch Library, located at 417 North First Street in downtown Immokalee. The Collier County Public Library system announced the upcoming program, designed to help community members navigate the digital world with greater confidence.
Starting next Tuesday, April 15, 2026, the library will offer sessions covering essential topics such as basic computer operation, internet browsing, email management, and an introduction to common software applications. These workshops are open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to those looking to refresh their knowledge.
Library Manager Maria Rodriguez stated, "We understand the importance of digital access and skills in today's world. These workshops are a direct response to community feedback and our commitment to providing valuable resources to Immokalee families."
The classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM throughout April and May. Space is limited, and interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance at the library's front desk or by calling 239-657-2416. All materials and computer access will be provided free of charge.
