Eustis is preparing to honor its military veterans with a special ceremony next month, continuing a cherished tradition of recognizing those who have served. The event, organized by the Eustis Veterans Committee, aims to bring the community together to express gratitude for the sacrifices made by local service members.

The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, at 10:00 AM at the scenic Ferran Park, located on the shores of Lake Eustis. Residents are encouraged to attend and show their support. The program will include remarks from local dignitaries, a presentation of colors by the Eustis High School JROTC, and a moment of silence for fallen heroes. Several local veterans are expected to share their experiences, fostering a deeper connection between the community and its military past and present.
