The month kicks off with the annual Satellite Beach Founders' Day Picnic on Saturday, September 7th, at Pelican Beach Park. This family-friendly event, starting at 11:00 AM, will feature live music, food trucks, and various games for children. Mayor Mark Brimer is expected to deliver a brief address, highlighting the city's growth and community achievements over the past year.

For those interested in local history, the Satellite Beach Historical Society will host a special exhibition titled "A Glimpse into Our Past" at the Satellite Beach Public Library throughout September. The exhibit will showcase photographs and artifacts from the city's early days as a coastal community, with a free opening reception scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th, at 6:00 PM.

Fitness enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the Coastal Cleanup 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 21st. Organized by the Satellite Beach Environmental Committee, the event begins at 8:00 AM at Hightower Beach Park.
