Greenacres City Hall to Close for Holidays, Prompting One-Day Solid Waste Collection Delays for Residents

Greenacres City Hall will close for the upcoming Christmas and New Year's holidays, affecting both municipal services and solid waste collection schedules for residents. City Hall will be closed on December 24th and 25th for Christmas, and again on January 1st for New Year's Day.

These closures mean a one-day delay in solid waste collection for residents. There will be no collection on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. If a resident's normal pickup day falls on one of these holidays, their garbage will be collected the following day. For the Christmas holiday, this delayed schedule will continue through Saturday, December 28th.

City Hall will resume its normal business hours on Thursday, December 26th, following the Christmas holiday. After the New Year's Day closure, City Hall will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd. Residents should plan accordingly for any city business or waste disposal needs during these periods.
