Englewood Public Library Announces New Digital Literacy Workshops
Englewood Public Library to Host Free Digital Literacy Workshops
Englewood residents looking to sharpen their computer skills or navigate the digital world with more confidence will have a new opportunity starting next month. The Englewood Public Library announced a series of free digital literacy workshops, set to begin on Monday, May 5, 2026.
The workshops, designed for all skill levels from beginners to those seeking to enhance existing knowledge, will cover essential topics such as internet safety, email management, basic word processing, and using online government services. Library Director Sarah Jenkins stated, "We recognize the growing need for digital proficiency in our community. These workshops are part of our ongoing commitment to provide valuable resources and ensure everyone in Englewood has access to the tools they need to succeed in today's world."
Sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the library's computer lab, located at 345 Main Street in the heart of Englewood's historic downtown. Space is limited, and residents are encouraged to register in advance by visiting the library's front desk or calling 941-555-1234. The library anticipates strong interest and advises early registration to secure a spot.
