Dunedin residents are preparing for a bittersweet moment as Mary Jenkins, the cherished owner of "The Daily Crumb" bakery on Main Street in the heart of downtown Dunedin, announced her retirement effective May 1, 2026. After 35 years of serving up her famous Key Lime pies and morning pastries, Jenkins is hanging up her apron to spend more time with her grandchildren.

The Daily Crumb, a fixture at 730 Main Street since 1991, has been more than just a place to grab a coffee and a scone; it's been a community hub. Generations of Dunedin families have celebrated birthdays with Jenkins' custom cakes, and countless local meetings have been fueled by her fresh-baked goods.
