Dr. Ginger Pedersen Becomes Provost at Palm Beach State's Gardens Campus

Dr. Ginger Pedersen took over as provost of Palm Beach State College's Palm Beach Gardens campus on June 10, overseeing academic and student affairs.

Pedersen joined Palm Beach State as a math professor in 2006 and advanced through roles including associate dean and dean of academic affairs. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Central Florida, a master's degree in mathematics education from Florida Atlantic University, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Central Florida.

"I am honored to serve as the provost of the Palm Beach Gardens campus," Pedersen said. "I am committed to working with our faculty, staff and students to create a vibrant and supportive learning environment."
