Oakland Park residents remember Denis Noel, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 78 in North Bay Village, Miami, Florida. Noel, born on February 1, 1948, in Morne Fendue, St. Patricks, Grenada, was known for his devotion to family and faith.

Noel’s life centered on his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Noel, and their seven children: Dexter Noel, Earl Noel, Jamal Noel, Attee Noel, Ingrid Paterson, Jill Noel, and Althea Douglas. His brother, Raymond Noel, and sister, Mary Frederick, also mourn his passing. He was a grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 4 great-grandchildren. His daughter, Ingrid Paterson, shared a personal tribute: "You will always be my daddy, and you will always have a special place in my heart."
