Davie residents might notice a new precision in the town's landscaping efforts, particularly along major roadways and public spaces. The Town of Davie Public Works Department has recently implemented a new "razor lining" technique for maintaining grass edges, aiming for a cleaner, more manicured appearance throughout the community.

This initiative focuses on creating sharp, defined borders where grass meets sidewalks, curbs, and other hard surfaces. Public Works Director, John Smith, stated that the new approach is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Davie's common areas, reflecting the town's equestrian heritage.
