Razor Lining

Razor Lining

Davie residents might notice a new precision in the town's landscaping efforts, particularly along major roadways and public spaces. The Town of Davie Public Works Department has recently implemented a new "razor lining" technique for maintaining grass edges, aiming for a cleaner, more manicured appearance throughout the community.

This initiative focuses on creating sharp, defined borders where grass meets sidewalks, curbs, and other hard surfaces. Public Works Director, John Smith, stated that the new approach is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Davie's common areas, reflecting the town's equestrian heritage. "We believe this attention to detail will contribute to a more polished look for our town, reflecting the pride we all have in Davie," Smith commented.

Crews began applying the razor lining method earlier this month, with initial efforts concentrated along Orange Drive, Griffin Road, and the areas surrounding Town Hall. The department plans to expand this technique to all maintained public properties over the coming weeks. Residents can expect to see these improvements continue to roll out across the town's diverse neighborhoods, from suburban enclaves to rural outskirts, as the Public Works team systematically applies the new standard.
