Clay County FBLA Students Place at National Conference
Clay County High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recently showcased their talents on a national stage, with several students earning recognition at the annual National Leadership Conference. The conference, held last week, brought together top FBLA members from across the country to compete in various business-related events.
While specific individual placements were not immediately available, the Clay County FBLA advisor, Mrs. Eleanor Vance, expressed immense pride in her students' performance. "Our students worked incredibly hard preparing for these competitions, dedicating countless hours after school and on weekends," Vance stated. "Their success at the national level is a testament to their dedication, the support of their families, and the quality of education they receive here in Clay County."
The FBLA National Leadership Conference provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, network with peers, and compete in events ranging from public speaking and business ethics to accounting and computer applications. The experience is invaluable for students considering careers in business and related fields.
The Clay County School Board is expected to formally recognize the FBLA students and their achievements at their next regular meeting on April 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Clay County Administration Building auditorium in historic Green Cove Springs.
