Caloosa Park Trail Rerouting Underway
Boynton Beach residents who frequent Caloosa Park will notice changes to a popular walking trail as rerouting efforts are currently underway. The project aims to improve accessibility and safety for park users.
The affected section of the trail is located on the park's eastern side, near the baseball fields and close to residential neighborhoods. Crews began work last week, and the rerouting is expected to continue for several more weeks, weather permitting. While the trail is being reconfigured, temporary detours are in place, clearly marked with signage to guide pedestrians.
Park officials stated that the rerouting is part of a broader initiative to enhance recreational facilities within Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County. The new trail segment will feature a wider path and improved drainage, addressing previous concerns about water accumulation after heavy rains. Once completed, the updated trail will offer a smoother and more enjoyable experience for walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
Residents are encouraged to observe all posted signage and exercise caution while work is in progress. Further updates on the trail's completion will be provided by the city's Parks and Recreation Department.
