Bay Harbor Islands residents now have a clear understanding of the key personnel leading the town's Building Department. The department released a list of its staff, highlighting the individuals responsible for overseeing construction, permitting, and planning within the community.

Alexander Garcia serves as the Building Official, leading the department's operations. Ayanidys Martinez manages the department as the Building Department Manager. Joanna Morales works as the Administrative Specialist, and Lawrence Wentworth holds the position of Lead Permit Technician.

The department's technical staff includes Ismael Naranjo, who handles Building Plan Review, and Charles (Chuck) Lester, the Building Inspector. Specialized inspection roles are filled by Candelario Martinez for Electrical, Maykel Massanet for Plumbing, and Jan Pierre Perez for Mechanical. Adolfo Gonzalez is responsible for Structural Plan Examination, ensuring the safety and compliance of building projects.
