bp Rewards Visa: A New Option for Quincy Drivers

Quincy drivers now have another option to save at the pump with the introduction of the bp Rewards Visa credit card. While not specific to Quincy, this new offering from bp and Synchrony Bank allows cardholders to earn rewards on fuel purchases at participating bp and Amoco stations, including those located throughout our community.

The card, which launched recently, provides a tiered rewards structure. Cardholders can earn 15 cents off per gallon on qualifying bp and Amoco fuel purchases for the first 60 days after account opening. After this introductory period, the savings shift to 5 cents off per gallon on bp and Amoco fuel. Additionally, the card offers 3% cash back on grocery store purchases and 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases, which can be redeemed as a statement credit or for bp gift cards.

For Quincy residents who frequently fill up at local bp stations, such as the one on Washington Street in the heart of historic downtown or the Amoco on Southern Artery, this card could offer a convenient way to reduce fuel costs. The rewards program is designed to integrate with the existing bpme Rewards program, allowing for additional savings opportunities.
