Bills Review 2026 Draft Decisions, Scouted DJ Moore Before Trade
National Desk
May 3, 2026
Buffalo Bills executives released draft weekend video content and an interview, detailing the team's draft decisions.
General Manager Brandon Beane indicated receiver D.J. Moore was evaluated by the Bills prior to trading for him. Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady played a role in the decision to acquire Moore, citing the receiver's production with Brady in Carolina. The team observed Moore's play even when he was not targeted in Chicago, concluding there was no decline in his skill set.
The team views third-round pick T.J. Parker as a three-down player who can contribute in both run defense and pass rush. Fourth-round pick Jude Bowry is expected to compete at the guard position. The Bills declined an offer to trade down from the No. 125 and No. 126 picks in the fourth round, instead selecting Skyler Bell and Kaleb Elarms-Orr.
