The City of Mebane is soliciting bids for the West Ten Road Waterline Connector. Bid Documents may be obtained from Engineer’s webpage by downloading the documents from: https://www.awck.com/resources#PlanRoom The proposed work will consist of the installation of new water infrastructure along a portion of West Ten Road (SR #1144) Mebane, North Carolina. The primary work will include the following items and appurtenances: Installation of approximately 1,710 LF of 12” DIP Water Main, including 40 LF of Bore and Jack of SR 1144. Installation of 3 – 5 & 1/4” fire hydrants with associated gate valves. Connection of proposed waterlines to 12” waterline. Testing and Chlorination of the proposed water main. Stabilization of the work area to meet or exceed preconstruction conditions. Questions regarding the Bid Documents are to be emailed to Jon Pendergraph at [email protected]. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday April 16th, 2026 at 106 E. Washington St., Mebane, North Carolina 27302, at the Mebane Municipal Building. Formal Bids will be received by the City of Mebane at 106 E. Washington St., Mebane, North Carolina 27302, at the Mebane Municipal Building (Glendel Stephenson Council Chambers) until 10:00 AM, Thursday April 30th , 2026, for the West Ten Road Waterline Connector. Prior to accessing files, participants will be required to accept Engineer’s Download Policy. The Policy requires that documents shall not be forwarded to other bidders; however, you will be permitted to forward to material suppliers to obtaining quotes and to subcontractors provided suppliers and subcontractors do not forward the documents to other bidders.
