Visibility is expected to be reduced to as low as one-quarter mile in dense fog, creating hazardous travel conditions. Residents in the Petersburg Borough should take immediate precautions when driving.

The NWS advises that if you are driving, slow down, use your headlights, and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles. The reduced visibility could significantly increase the risk of accidents.
