Superintendent Macri Thanks VCSD Staff and Volunteers

Hello VCSD Community, As we recognize Teacher Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to share something I hope our entire Voorheesville community knows and feels: Our schools are special because of the people in them. This week, we celebrate our teachers—whose dedication, creativity, and care shape the daily experiences of our students in ways that truly make a difference. But the truth is, what happens in our schools each day is the result of a much larger team effort. It’s our principals and administrators setting the tone and direction. Our teaching assistants and aides supporting students every step of the way. Our counselors, social workers, psychologists, and nurses caring for the whole child. It’s our coaches and advisors who give their time well beyond the school day. Our secretaries and office staff who keep everything running. Our custodial and maintenance teams who take pride in our buildings and create safe, welcoming spaces. Our food service staff who care for our students in ways that often go unseen, and our transportation team who ensure they arrive safely each day. Behind the scenes, our technology, facilities, and business office teams make sure everything works as it should. And we are fortunate to have a dedicated Board of Education and community volunteers who give their time and leadership in service to our schools. In Voorheesville, it truly takes all of us. To our staff and volunteers, thank you for everything you do for our students and families. And to our community, thank you for your continued support of the people who make our schools such a special place. Best, Frank Macri The post Letter of Appreciation from Superintendent Frank Macri appeared first on Voorheesville Central School.
