A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for Pell City and Moody in St. Clair County, effective immediately as of October 9 at 6:57 AM CDT, by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Birmingham, AL. This watch remains in effect until 3:00 PM UTC today.
Residents should act now to complete preparations for hazardous winds, with gusts up to 40 mph expected. Efforts to protect property should be underway.
