Jeffrey Archer, the prolific British author and former politician, died Monday at his London home. He was 86.

His career spanned more than 40 books, translated into 49 languages and selling over 300 million copies worldwide.
Archer also had a significant political career. He served in Parliament starting in 1969 and later moved to the House of Lords in 1992, retiring in 2024.
