Parkland Seeks Residents for City Advisory Boards

Parkland residents have until 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, to apply for several city advisory boards. The city is seeking community members to serve on the Community Advisory Board, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Planning and Zoning Advisory Board, and the Police Pension Board.
These boards provide recommendations on policy issues to the City Commission, advising on land use, code enforcement and other community concerns. Board members study issues, hear public testimony, conduct research and review staff reports to inform their recommendations.
Residents interested in contributing their perspectives and expertise can contact the City Clerk's office at 954-757-4132 for more information or to inquire about the application process.
