Apply for a Bonfire, Fireworks, or Special Event Permit Panama City Beach is a beautiful venue with great weather which attracts millions of visitors each year. As such, the City is home to dozens of special events each year. We welcome all those who have chosen our City for your event, whether it is a massive concert, a wine tasting, or a wedding. Welcome! We have compiled the information you will need to know regarding the special event process. Further questions can be emailed to Special Event Permits. Insurance Requirements for Procurements & Special Events Location Where are you planning your event? To see the Panama City Beach city limits, you can use our multilayer city address lookup map. If your location is not in our City limits, it may be in unincorporated Bay County, and you would need to contact the Bay County Offices at 850-234-8540. Beach Bonfires A permit is required for a beach bonfire in Panama City Beach. Only vendors registered with the City are allowed to apply for beachside fire permits. Weddings Many people choose to exchange vows on the World's Most Beautiful Beaches. For weddings on the beach inside of our City limits, a permit may be required. Please visit our beach wedding information page for additional information. Turtle Nesting Season Considerations Turtle Nesting Season is May 1 through October 31. During this season, additional requirements and/or restrictions may affect your event. Panama City Beach Aquatic Center offers year-round programming in a heated and cooled 50-meter pool as well as seasonal recreational programming. Please note event pricing may differ from listed daily rates. Additional information and pricing for facility rentals is listed in the 'pavilion and classroom rental' section. To pre-register your group of 20 or more guests, or to reserve training space any time of year, call the Aquatic Center office at 850-236-2205 for more information. Daily Admission General Admission: $8 Seniors age 65+, (ID Required): $6 Military (ID Required): $6 Children Ages 0-up to age 2 years: FREE Swim Opportunities Lap Swim Recreational Swimming Punch Cards! 20-visit punch card $140 - Available year-round and valid October 1 through September 30 regardless of the date of purchase. Valid towards lap swimming and aquatic fitness classes. Sharable! Military/Seniors (ID required): $100 Memberships - the Best Value! Annual memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, pro-rating and refunds are not available. Valid towards unlimited lap swim, aquatic fitness classes, and seasonal REC swim during posted hours. Fitness & Water Exercise Classes Fitness Classes $6 drop-in Our unique community of aquatic fitness enthusiasts is growing! Experienced instructors keep the variety fun and challenging while daily classes provide opportunities for anyone to join in, even those with the busiest of schedules. To make it even more interesting, several of our instructors have extensive backgrounds in specialty areas like yoga, aquatic therapy, swim instruction, triathlons, and others. Participants must be at least 14 years of age or accompanied by an adult. All skill levels are encouraged to participate.
