BLM Seeks Public Input on Big Horn County Bentonite Mine Expansion

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has completed an analysis of a proposed bentonite mining expansion in Big Horn County, about 15 miles southeast of Lovell. The BLM's Cody Field Office is accepting public comments on the environmental assessment until April 12, 2024. Residents and interested parties can review the assessment and submit feedback to the Cody Field Office. The analysis is a key step in the decision-making process for the proposed expansion.
