Boil Water Advisory for 48 Palm Beach Properties After Main Break

The City of West Palm Beach issued a precautionary boil water notice Friday, September 18, 2026, for 48 properties in Palm Beach following an 8-inch water main break. The notice affects properties on portions of N. Lake Way, Via Tortuga, Via Las Brisas, Maddock, Las Costa Way, and Tangier.

Residents and businesses should avoid using tap water for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, making ice, or washing dishes. Tap water remains safe for bathing, showering, and washing clothes. For potable water needs, use bottled water or boil tap water until it reaches a rolling boil for at least one minute.

The advisory will remain in effect until the water main is repaired and water quality tests confirm the water is safe. Once rescinded, residents should run water for 5 to 10 minutes to clear pipes before normal use.
