Palm Beach County Elections Office Wins National Security Award
The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office won a 2025 Clearinghouse Award from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for developing an Election Night Transmission Monitoring Dashboard.
The dashboard monitors results transmission from all 377 voting locations across the county in real time. The system automatically processes incoming data, updates a live map, and flags locations needing support. Before the dashboard, election staff tracked transmissions through manual spreadsheets, phone calls, and fragmented reports.
Staff designed and built the system using existing tools and in-house expertise. The EAC recognized the project for its innovation, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and ability to be replicated by election offices of any size.
Wendy Sartory Link, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, said the dashboard strengthens election administration and operational awareness on election night.
The EAC received nearly 200 submissions for the awards program, which highlights best practices in election administration nationwide. More information is available at VotePalmBeach.gov.
