Emily in Paris Final Season Filming Wraps, Lily Collins Confirms

Filming has concluded for the sixth and final season of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. Star Lily Collins announced the production wrap on Instagram on Friday, sharing a personal reflection on her time with the show.

Collins posted a photo of herself in a director's chair marked "Fin" with a heartfelt caption. "Emily has been a part of my life for so many years," she wrote. "Through every season, she’s continued to surprise me, inspire me, and challenge me."

The actress thanked show creator Darren Star for developing the character of Emily, an "endlessly optimistic American girl in Paris." Collins also expressed gratitude to the cast, crew, and fans.

"I will carry this chapter with me forever," Collins concluded. "Saying goodbye feels completely surreal and bittersweet, but mostly, I feel so incredibly proud and grateful that I got to be her. And be part of something so joyful. This has forever changed me."

The final season will feature Emily traveling to multiple European locations, including Greece. The season's official logline states that Emily will face "defining choices that test her ultimate loyalties" amidst "unexpected career conflicts and shifting relationships." She will ultimately make one final decision balancing her career, her heart, and her life in Paris.

The sixth and final season of Emily in Paris is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on Dec. 24.
