A song titled "Money Without Me" briefly appeared on Kendrick Lamar's YouTube channel Dec. 17, 2024, before its removal. The track was Lamar's first release following his November studio album, GNX.
The song initially uploaded with auto-generated credits. YouTube then changed the video's visibility from unlisted to public before Universal Music Group issued a copyright claim. The song was removed Dec. 18, then re-uploaded Dec. 25.
The song's short availability fueled fan speculation about a potential deluxe edition of GNX. The cover art for "Money Without Me" features the same car shown on the GNX album cover. Lefty Gunplay, who featured on Lamar's song "TV Off," said in a late November 2024 interview that a deluxe GNX edition might be released soon.
