
Winter Park High School Turns 100: A Century of Tradition
Winter Park High School is celebrating its 100th anniversary with community events and a stakeholder survey. Standardized tests will be held at the 9th Grade Center due to campus renovations.

Winter Park High School celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, marking a century of academic excellence, school pride, leadership, and community tradition. The school invites its Wildcat community to honor the people, achievements, experiences, and traditions that have shaped the institution in the Orlando area.
Principal Dr. Michael Meechin expressed his honor in leading a school with such a rich history and deep community roots. "When we support teachers and put students at the center of our work, powerful things happen," Meechin stated. "I’m committed to honoring what makes Winter Park High School special while working alongside you to keep pushing forward."
Winter Park High School is conducting its Fall 2026 Stakeholder Survey from September 29 to October 13. Families are encouraged to provide feedback. The survey helps Orange County Public Schools improve school performance, strengthen communication, and serve students and families.
The main campus is located at 2100 Summerfield Road, Winter Park, Florida 32792, with student hours from 7:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. The 9th Grade Center is at 528 Huntington Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789, with student hours from 7:10 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. All Saturday SAT and ACT testing will occur at the 9th Grade Center due to main campus renovations. Test-takers should arrive between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and bring a photo ID and laptop. Carpooling or drop-offs are recommended due to limited parking.
