SeaWorld Orlando shut down its Mako roller coaster following a fatal accident Monday on a similar ride at Six Flags Over Georgia.

A man died and four others were injured on the Goliath coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. Both Mako and Goliath were manufactured by the same company. SeaWorld said it is reviewing the ride with the manufacturer but gave no reopening date.

The incident prompted other parks to take action. La Ronde in Montreal closed its Goliath coaster. Six Flags shut down nine coasters across six parks. Hersheypark is evaluating its Candymonium coaster, which shares the same manufacturer.

Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg said they found no issues with their rides and conduct regular inspections with manufacturers and safety experts.
