Roberta "Bobbi" Lynn Scussel, a cherished member of the Orange County community, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. She had a long and challenging battle with a debilitating brain injury.

Scussel was known for her sweet soul and will be missed by many who knew her from local gatherings, including those near Lake Eola and at community events throughout the county. She was 65.

She was predeceased by her parents, John W. Scussel and Bonnie Patricia Butler, and her nephew, Nicholas "Nick" Wilt.

She is survived by her siblings, Rebecca "Becky" (Ross), John (Christopher) and James "Jim" (Linda). She also leaves behind three nephews and a niece, along with their children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 29, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, Florida 33605.

Further details regarding a local memorial service in the Orange County area will be announced at a later date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Scussel's name to a charity of your choice.
