Winter Springs Community Events: Oct-Nov
Winter Springs invites residents to a series of community events this fall, including a fishing competition, charter review meeting, drug take-back, the Hometown Harvest festival and a 5K run.

Winter Springs residents can participate in several community events throughout October and November. Activities include an outdoor fishing competition and a drug take-back initiative.
The city's calendar begins with the "Fish Winter Springs" competition, which started Oct. 3, 2026, at 1000 Central Winds Dr. The competition runs for multiple weeks and offers residents a chance to enjoy outdoor recreation near Lake Jesup.
The Ad Hoc Charter Review Committee will meet Oct. 15, 2026, at 1126 East SR 434. Residents may attend to discuss the city's charter.
On Oct. 24, 2026, Winter Springs will host two events. The DEA Drug Take Back Event will take place at 300 N Moss Rd, providing a disposal site for unwanted prescription drugs. The 20th Annual Hometown Harvest, presented by Orlando Health, will also occur Oct. 24, 2026, at 1000 Central Winds Dr. This event is a traditional community gathering.
The "Miles of Thanks 5K" is scheduled for Nov. 21, 2026, at 1000 Central Winds Dr. The event encourages a fun run and community participation.
