Opa-Locka Food Distribution Canceled; Driver License Services Proceed as Scheduled

Opa-Locka residents faced a change in community services today as the Feeding South Florida food distribution scheduled for Segal Park was canceled. However, Driver License FLOW services proceeded as planned at the Helen L. Miller Center.

The cancellation of the food distribution impacts residents who rely on these services for essential food resources. The event, originally set for Friday, September 18, 2026, at Segal Park, did not take place.

Despite the food distribution cancellation, the Driver License FLOW services continued without interruption. These services were available today, Friday, September 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Residents did not need an appointment to access these services.
