GRANTS PASS, Ore. (May 20, 2024) – Dutch Bros Coffee and its customers raised more than $1.5 million on May 17 for local youth organizations! One hundred percent of proceeds from all Dutch Bros locations were donated to organizations dedicated to providing resources for education, extracurricular activities and other programs. “We are so grateful for our customers, broistas and communities who show up every year for Drink One for Dane,” said Christine Barone, CEO of Dutch Bros Coffee. “The impact of this day is felt year-round as local organizations are able to provide opportunities and resources for youth.” The funds were raised during the 17th annual Drink One for Dane day, honoring Dane Boersma, one of the company’s co-founders who passed away from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2009. Each year, Dutch Bros donates proceeds from one day of sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to fund research and treatment for ALS. In 2023, Dutch Bros expanded the impact of the day to also support local youth organizations. Dutch Bros locations across the country partner with local organizations in their communities. Sharing Center Fundraiser at American Muscle Car Museum Raises $14,400

On Saturday, March 28, it was business as usual at the Sharing Center of Central Brevard—busy, energetic, and full of purpose. But this particular Saturday also gave us the opportunity to step outside our walls and into the community for a very special event. We were honored to once again be invited by the Antique Automobile Club of Cape Canaveral to participate in an event at the incredible American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne. It turned out to be an exceptional day from start to finish. With perfect weather drawing in a large and enthusiastic crowd, our dedicated volunteers were ready. They worked seamlessly together, welcoming and processing guests as they arrived, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Their teamwork and positive energy truly set the tone for the day. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and attendees, we are thrilled to share that the event raised over $14,400 in support of our mission. This incredible contribution will go directly toward helping individuals and families in our community who rely on the Sharing Center for vital resources and support. Events like these are especially meaningful to us. They allow us to connect with the community in a different way—sharing our story, building new relationships, and meeting so many wonderful people who believe in what we do. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who played a part in making this day such a success. From our gracious hosts to our hardworking volunteers, sponsors, and all who attended—we are truly grateful. We look forward to many more opportunities like this in the future.
