Ogdensburg Splash Pad Opens at Greenbelt | Pool Reconstruction

The City of Ogdensburg opened a new splash pad Monday at the Greenbelt recreation area. City Manager Fonda Chronis cut the ribbon at 9:30 a.m. June 8, followed by children from the Ogdensburg School District making the first splash.

The splash pad provides families a water recreation option while the adjacent city pool undergoes reconstruction. St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 during the ceremony to support operations this year.

"Support from corporate sponsors is key to keeping these quality-of-life amenities in the city," Chronis said.
