The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of approximately 110,550 Pacearth U-type swing seats due to a risk of breakage that could lead to falls and injuries.
The company received at least 30 reports of falls involving the swing seats. Nine injuries, including fractures, head injuries, and bruising, were reported.
The recalled swing seats, along with their carabiners, quick links, and webbing straps, can break during use. The products were sold on Amazon between May 2017 and June 2026 in green, blue, pink, red, and turquoise. The seats feature yellow plastic-coated chains and were sold individually or in packs of two for $27 to $57.
Consumers owning the recalled swing seats should stop using them immediately.
To receive a refund, customers must contact Pacearth Direct and submit a photograph via email showing the word "RECALLED" written in permanent marker on the product, along with the company's logo. Further assistance is available by emailing Pacearth.
